Snap Happy is a charm square AND fat quarter friendly pattern. The pattern includes instructions for making two sizes - Baby (36 1/2" x 42 1/2") and Throw (52 1/2" x 61 1/2"). There are two blocks in the pattern - The camera block (14" x 17") and the photo block (6" x 7 1/2").

If anyone is curious, the panto I used on the cover sample is "Floral Frame" by Mistletoe Quilting Co and the quilting was done by Stuph From Steph.
I was inspired to make Snap Happy after finding out my oldest got an old-school Polaroid camera and had become a fan of photography.
The pattern is also inspired by a Polaroid quilt tutorial I did for Scrapbooks Etc. in 2014 - 2015. Here are the couple photos I got of the quilt before it was gifted!
.
If you're an advanced beginner quilter, you can easily make this quilt in a couple days. Especially the baby size. I made the quilt top of the sample shown below in one day!
The panto on this quilt is called "Worm Trails" and was quilted by Julie Hirt.
Because the baby size has 12 photo blocks, it's a great way to showcase a baby's first year photos. Big thanks to my friend, Haley, for letting me using her son's photos! You can check out my blog post HERE for a tutorial on printing photos on fabric. I also provide resources if you aren't able to go the same route I did!
Besides releasing the Snap Happy quilt pattern today, I am also releasing a coordinating FPP (foundation paper piecing) pattern! The FPP Nature Blocks pattern includes five blocks from some of my already released nature-themed patterns, but shrunken to a 5" square size. My tester, Pear Tree Market, used these block patterns in her Snap Happy baby quilt. It turned out so, so cute!
Speaking of testers, you can check out all of my testers incredible Snap Happy makes HERE! They made their quilts in prints, solids, and one tester made a tote bag with the camera block!

To find out where you can buy quilt kits and how you can participate in a charm swap for the pattern select HERE! A downloadable coloring page is linked in that post too!
